Yes, I agree, thank you Satta! Being simple and accepting to my own thoughts through Ascension has speeded up the direct and fearless, and most of all the fun and easy communication towards others and myself. Not punishing myself for sometimes (or many times actually, haha!) saying strange, seemingly inappropriate things. The shame of forgetting or doing mistakes has almost vanished. I am not so afraid anymore of not being good enough, and actually, in a strange way observing that I am laughing so much more, enjoying life and loving people for who they are. And it is all because of expanding perception and awareness on the inside, making space for going beyond past experiences. What a great gift to have the tool for that. Finally using energy on joyful stuff, leaving the believes of the self-absorbing and energy consuming dramas behind. It is time to have some fun and play with each other, and of course to be able to really BE there for each other, through loving and honest communication;-)

Wow, that's how i feel, have always I run from communicating, never felt like i had anything important to say, felt like talking was over rated. What you have written makes me think twice. Starting today i will be more aware when i fall into my running away safety net. And open up Thanks

Oh so spot on are these words. I have just come back from 4 fabulous days driving my little MX-5 car on the twisting rises and dips of the single track roads in the NW of Scotland. You have no choice other than to focus the mind on the task in hand it being instinctive as any lapse could result in disaster and yet the thrill because of the natural skill which develops though regular practice makes it so simple and joyous. Now where have I experienced that before. Practice makes perfect.

Hi Maitrya! How amazing that I read your story today! Just last night at our weekly Ascension meeting Maruta brought over the DVD movie "One Week" to watch ...how cool, the movie is a story about motorcycling across Canada. We all so enjoyed it! Your story too reminds me of riding on the back of Rick's bike of being so much more present to the beauty around me......what a way to see the world! Thanks for your share!

Graham, Jen, Kshama & Draupadi. Thanks for your comments, and for taking the time to make them. I just got back to Norway yesterday, having ridden across the Alps from Greece. It was a great trip, lots of laughs and very challenging riding, and some very good food. The most incredible part was that I experienced no fear at all, even when riding steep mountain passes where one slip meant a long and very fast trip to the valley floor. It was one of the clearest examples of what can happen when I rest my attention in the calmness within. Fear just disappears! Incredible. Have a lovely day!

I can really connect with this blog. Up until July 2006 I was a lifelong (50+ years)motorcyclist. At that point in my life, I lost a lot of my sight, and was registered partially sighted. I realised quickly how much my biking days had been my meditation, and time out from the 'monkey mind'. Last week in Cardiff I attended the First Sphere course, which I enjoyed immensely, I have a long way to go, however, I now have the tools to help me on my journey, even without my motor-bike.
